Ingredients:
3/4 C. Rum for soaking raisins 1 C. Raisins
1 C. Butter softened 1 1/2 C. Flour
1 C. Maple Sugar 3 C. Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 C. Brown Sugar 1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 Eggs 2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Maple Glaze (optional)
1/4 C. Bourbon Infused Maple Syrup
2 TBS Butter
1 C. Powdered Sugar
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Heat Rum up in a small pot on the stove, take off heat and add raisins to soak up the brandy.
Cream butter and sugars in a stand mixer for 2-3 minutes, add eggs, and vanilla.
Fold in mixed dry ingredients until just combined.
Pour off excess Rum and add raisins to the cookie dough.
Using a cookie scoop (or large cereal spoon) drop on greased cookie sheet with 2 inches between.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
Glaze:
Melt Butter and maple syrup over medium low heat until fully incorporated. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Drizzle over cooled cookies and try to hold yourself back from eating them all!!
